05+ cars you mean :) 04s have the access door in the trunk
Well right... mine is an 05 so does that mean I am screwed with the easy access door?
Best to check your trunk just to be sure
I have only personally worked on an 04 FP. Thanks for the clarification RED. Drop the tank then and call it a day
Edit : why would gm change this . . . . just to piss me off thats why
I suppose I could. I would need to take all of my subwoofers and crap out. I will probably just test the fuel pressure first before I go all crazy on it. I am not super smart on these cars anyway so where is the best spot and how do you check the fuel pressure. I hate messing with gas lines. :th_nervous:
If I am not mistaken theres a port on the FPR not sure tho I have honestly never looked for it
Edit : I believe its called the fuel pump schrader valve test port and I lied its on the fuel rail . . . google is your friend
Schroeder valve should be on the fuel rails
here is some search results I found on n/a 3800
headers/hv3,stock tune

stock n/a 3800

Hey thinks for the links Grimsin! So what I got from that is I am about half way between stock and what I should be at. Tim at ZZP was kind of surprised I was running ZZP headers on a N/A car since the flow is insane from those things. That is probably what is causing my issues.
still 1st link the guy got 38whp more with the exact same setup as you and thats without a tune. that second link shows a stock 3800 pulling the same whp as your modded one
i got SD headers so I believe my primaries are smaller then yours, but I doubt the extra flow is maxing out your injectors or making you stutter/bog etc.
Why do you suspect fuel pressure issues? Your afr was quite flat.
Your IDC theroeticly hit that number however you need to verify that their equipment is right. listen to what dh and snow said.
I can also vouch that if you scan a 3800 with the LSx config it will read wrong. They need to readress and Dyno again.
can the shop hook up a scope to one of the injectors and monitor the IPW when its on the dyno?
look for it to "flatline high"
which would indicate 100% IDC
if they have a good digital logging scope, then they could actually find out the actual IPW at the injector.
I dont know. I got my appointment setup with ZZP in April. We can dig into it there and see what it will take to get me running right
