Finally. My coils from PFYC are due to arrive in the next few days. I guess it is hard for Canadians to order from them, or so they say. Ok, so what else should I do along with them as I just did the plugs and wires a couple of months ago.

Assuming you mean ignition coils? If they are MSD coils, send them back and get a refund.

Since you did plugs and wires those are taken care of so you might as well go ahead and replace all the vacuum lines (you can get some very nice silicone lines on ebay for cheap)

What is wrong with MSD coils?

Also, never done Vac lines. Are they hard to replace?

msd coils suck, they misfire. sometimes that is, sometimes they work fine. but the risk aint worth it when a the stock coil is better.

vac lines are cake, cut the ends with a sharp razor so you dont break any of the plastic line ports. they are old, get brittle and snap when you try to pull the old line off.

Not hard to replace at all. Basically figure out what sizes you need, figure out how you want to route them (if you want to try and hide them or not), cut to length, and put them on.

MSD coils are known to fail, and do fail. I had them for about 2000miles (3200km) and started getting a misfire. Turns out one of the coil packs had split down the middle between the 2 posts, and was arcing out to the coil bracket. Wrote PFYC, they said to contact MSD. Spent the better part of a month trying to get a replacement. I replaced the bad MSD with an old stock coil pack until the new MSD arrived. By the time the new replacement coil pack arrived, both the others were splitting in the same place.

Many people have had issues with them. They do not provide "more" spark, no performance increase, no better burn. They are just red and cost $150USD
Some people have run them without issue, but a quick search will show how many others have had problems with them.

That being said, they do look nice, and if you dont believe me that I had them for awhile.

Well. Will have to see how they fare out. My car has been having issues for a while and may be looking into a newer GP soon. Just need it to last until summer. Ty for the vac line info.
