My 02 gp gt has DELPHI oem spark plug wires. Are these wires stock? How hard are the rear plugs to get to? Can I remove the alternator to make it easier? Do I need to remove the o2 sensor? The car has 198k miles.

I am currently having a sporadic long crank no start condition but it's happened maybe twice in 7 months. So I'm just going to do basic tune up. I replaced the FPR today so we'll see about that too.

Delhpi/delco are stock wires, but at that mileage they could have been replaced once already.

You can buy those again or go with the store brand wires with warranty, they all work good.

Plugs are AC Delco 41-101 Iridiums if you didn't have the part number, they are the best STOCK plug.

Nothing has to be removed, either climb on the motor or stand on the passenger side and reach around the back side to get the plugs out, it they fairly easy with smaller arms and hands.

Clean the throttle body and MAF sensor to also help with the cranking issue.

If you need a tad more room for the rear bank of plugs, remove the two dogbone mounts and pull the engine forward with a ratchet strap. Or even rock the car back in forth in park and pull the parking brake when the engine lurches forwards, it will give you a few more inches to work with.
For thine is the Cam, The Piston, and The Rod, Forever and ever (or until they break). Amen.

I have a set of ac delco 41-101 iridium spark plugs I pulled out of my motor before I built it I had to go to autolite 104's. I'd sell them cheap there's maybe a 1,000 miles on them.

You probably could do it that way but they make a tool for that it bolts up where the dog bone would go and there's a bolt you turn then it pulls the motor forward. It's even a pain when you pull the motor forward it helps a little but either way it sucks. You can change plugs without pulling the motor forward I've done it before I had the tool.

After you remove the dog bone, the bolt back in and hook the strap there.
