Hey guys. My temp gauge stopped working last week. I figured it was my ect sensor that crapped out so I changed it saturday and while I was at it, I changed out the tsat and o-ring as well. Put it all back together and the gauge is still not reading anything and the cel was still on. Took it to get checked and it threw code P0118. I googled it and it said something about ect sensor circuit high input or something like that. What could the problem be? My lower radiator hose also busted yesterday afternoon. (pain in the ass to get the bottom clamp off btw!!!!) I changed it out and put new clamps and was good to go but I can't tell what my temp is. My other problem is when I try to start the car, sometimes I have to keep turning the key longer than usual. It sounds like it wants to turn on but it just doesn't quite get there if that makes any sense. I just changed out the starter about 6 months ago, battery had 12+ volts. Only thing left to check would be alternator right? Any help would be appreciated guys.
