Friday morning my daughter is coming over, her radiator is leaking apparently. So we're going to put in a new Radiator. I already picked up the new one at Napa. Its got a few loose parts for mounting etc. I've done a few of these before in previous cars, but I just wanted to see if you guys may have some insight on this particular job. !999 GP, 3.8 NON SC.
Any tips are appreciated, I've got other things I'd like to get done Friday as well...

    Pretty easy.

Remove dog bones and mounts, unplug the fans, undo the 4 bolts holding it to the rad. Then remove the lower and upper rad hoses from the raditor itself. The trans cooler lines have small clips holding them in, a angle pick gets them out easy. On the bottom there is a clip/holder that the cooler lines run it, just a simple pop and they are free.

Thats pretty much it, the rad will lift right out.

I only say "pretty easy" because I've done it twice already on my own car during the same repair lol.

I got good at getting it out quick.

Well the deed is done. i guess it did fall into the "Pretty Easy" category. It took me longer than I had hoped, but doesn't it always. I ended up having to pull the battery as well in order to get it out. The only hang up I had was the low coolent sensor wanted to leak when I refilled. I went to napa and got a couple orings and it was good to go.
