I am thinking about adding a factory supercharger to my Grand Prix GT. What all would I need besides the supercharger belt.

From your screen name I assume you own a 97 GT?

If so, you might aswell scrap the idea and sell the car for a GTP model.

It isn't just a "bolt on and go" mod either. It will take you some times to get it all on. Basically do an entire teardown for a LIM gasket job, then take off the valve covers, remove all the rockers and pushrods and pedestals, remove the heads, then you have to think about getting the harmonic balancer off, etc.

Then put everything on in rear order, and don't forget you have to get a good tune for it. You'll have to be running at least headers if you want to run a 3.8 pulley since you've got higher compression as well.

I'd just do what everyone else is saying, start with a stock supercharged GP, or even swap in an L67 with a 4t65e-HD transmission so it won't be an unreliable mess. The 4t60e's were just ****, plain and simple.
