So I ordered a set of gaskets to do my LIM on my 01 N/A car I got the Fel-Pros I just need to know how and or which of these gaskets to use for the sides of the intake manifold. I'm sure i could probably tell once i take intake of and look at the old gaskets but i figured better to be safe than sorry and know what to do before i start the job. Here is a pic of the gaskets I am talking about

I know they are used to seal the sides of the intake manifold but I thought there would only be 2 and not 4.

Also if anyone knows the spec for the torque on the LIM that would be great. I know the UIM is 30in lbs.

I used the dark blue ones on when I changed the lim last , there is holes in the engine block where you insert those two black tabs. Make sure once those are installed put a dab of RTV at each ends then align the gaskets. The UIM is not 30 ft/lbs its 17 ft/lbs and the lim is 11ft/lbs

    This explains the gaskets
    http://www.grandprixforums.net/lim-g...ign-39522.html

    On torque.
Plastic w/o inserts were 11ft lbs
Plastic w/metal inserts were 13ft lbs
I've yet to find a bulletin on the aluminum gaskets, I torque them to 15ft lbs.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
