I added a HVTB back when I was running N/A. I really liked the improved throttle response, but I couldn't really feel any significant gain at wide open throttle. It's a good mod, but it's not going to be a night and day difference. I always ran the stock upper intake, so I wouldn't be able to compare the throttle body to the HV3.

From my modding experience, a TB would be more for throttle response than anything. Yeah, it will help with overall air flow, but anytime Ive added a TB throttle response has been the main thing.

I gained a tenth or two from a HVTB on my old GT. That with the older HVII, ER rockers, and SLP headers, the engine really screamed.

I had a HVTB when I was N/A. I just noticed a slightly better throttle response but that's it. I actually still got it in my garage now. Never had the opportunity to sell it.

Don't you have to tune out the 40mph lag to really get good throttle response?
