Hey guys, noob question #76, but on a 2008 with a 3.8, I can not find a Throttle Position Sensor anywhere. A parts guy told me that in this car it is combined with the Accelerator Pedal Sensor. Can anyone confirm this for me?

The Throttle postion sensor is built into electronic throttle body itself, there is also a APP sensor that connected to or built into the gas pedal.
The car takes the readings from both sensor's to determine how much to open the close the throttle body and all the other fancy jazz with air to fuel ratio etc etc etc.
That is what I figured, but i'm having throttle issues, and I'm pretty sure it's the TPS, but I can not find a listing for that part at all, anywhere. I'm hoping it's not gonna require me to replace the whole throttle body.
You will have to replace the entire throttle body assembly if that part is indeed faulty.
Because the TPS is built into it, the whole thing is bad.
