OK. I can not find an actual thread on this, so here goes.

I was thinking of doing a Top Swap to turn my GT into a GTP. Now, with that said. What needs to be changed. I mean, do I need to change the Transmission or other parts to ensure that I will not destroy parts? Or can this just be swapped out one for one?

Don't have the Parts as of yet (Looking to Buy Soon), but wanted more information for when I am ready to change.

    Any assistance would be appreciated.

Read some of that and lots of other research can go a long way.

Thanks. I noticed that I am able to get a full SC Engine with 125K for about $600 on eBay. Would this be an easier choice?

in the long run yes. save the n/a engine just in case the new used one craps the bed. you'll still need a the pcm tuned for the supercharger.

So, not to thread jack, but if you had a choice of buying a whole motor for 400, would you swap engines with an unknown mileage, or topswap a 130,000 engine, and replace all the gaskets with it?

My Current Engine has 213K kms on it. The one that I am looking at on eBay is 125K kms. But of course I am still thinking of all this. Would need help with the Top Swap for sure. (To make the wife happy of course).
