In my 04 gt N/A it has an issue of starting ever since I've had it. But the word thing is is that it seems to start up nice and strong on cold starts but it can't "grab" and start up strong after being driven or warm starts. It turns over but I just need to give it gas to get it to start when it's warm. Any ideas on what this could be?

on that year you can clean it up pretty good left on the car, carb cleaner and a shop rag, take the air filter tube off, push that gold fliap open, then spray and wipe, behind the flap, and the outer wall, as well as the flap its self, on the back side and the edges.

you can see the black ring on the gold part in the pic posted, you want all that off and clean. it will be very black behind that flap.

04's are known for that not catching on the first start. GM has an updated calibration for it, but being its out of warranty you'd have to pay unless someone can flash your PCM.

Possibly true but I've never had a problem once I got a tune, and I just cleaned my dirty ass TB the other day. Literally filthy.
