    Hi Guys,

My car is running great, but idling very rough. Today the service engine light came on. Can someone tell how to change the PCV valve? I found a nice slide show for a supercharged engine, but the location isn't the same on mine.

    Thanks!

Pull the 2 10mm bolts off of the pcv plate and remove that and pull the pcv valve out and put your new one in making sure all orings and springs are in place.

I goggled "grand prix pcv" and this was the first image. Way easier than describing it.

On the other hand, I really super-doubt that a bad PCV valve is causing your issues. Take it to parts store and get it scanned. Chances are something fancy like the MAF sensor is borked.
Irridium spark plugs last 100k mi and work just as well as copper. Copper is a waste on N/A and only lasts 15k mi. Don't use Platinum.
Use 195* tstat unless you can thoroughly explain why not; 99.9% don't need a lower temp.

Thanks for all the info guys...and you were right slowna06 it wasn't the pcv. Then engine light went out and it seems to be running better I have a feeling the spark plug wires were arching. Running right to Advanced Auto next time the light comes on.

Here is another thing to think of maybe the EGR valve was stuck open that'll cause no vacuum at idle which would cause a rough idle just my tow cents worth

EGR stuck open will be a huge vacuum leak... it'll sound like it's cammed... but it'll run fine. Check maf% with a scanner.
