    Just on the weekend the car started to leak coolant after a trip to LA. I notice it was wet on top of the water pump but I couldn't see from where it was leaking. Any ideas? water pump gasket? I'll take a picture of it in couple minutes to show you guys.

    Check the upper coolant elbow right above the water pump.
    I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

    YES, I took a look at the elbow and its cracked in half.

    You can get the aluminum ones locally. I think Autozone has them, may be other places too. Should be in the "Help" section. Part # 47065HP. You can also get them from Rock Auto.

    Advance has them, ORiley's, many places stock/have them easy to purchase these days.

    Get a set..toss in a set... then you'll be all set.

    Finally I changed both elbows ... got the aluminum ones for 10 bux !
