    Yes I read everything I could find I know I will need more than the blower. I wasn't sure if the gen 3 blower will fit on the 04 and newer gp's

    it will with a TB adapter. you need to keep the drive by wire throttle body. no one sells one, but it cant be too hard to make by hand.

    I wouldn't use a GenIII. Even a ported one doesn't flow as well as the GenV. If you're going to do it, do it right the first time and spend the extra cash

    I do have one question about this swap...

    30 - Run a vacuum line to the fuel pressure regulator and the MAP. The fuel pressure regulator needs to see boost in order to operate correctly. Go ahead and attach the Boost Bypass Valve to the supercharger. It's held on with a bracket and two bolts. Run a vac line from the tree on the supercharger to the top nipple on the BBV. The bottom one needs to see ATMOSPHERE, because our L36 PCM's cannot control the BBV.
    Why is this? Does the L67 PCM control the BBV? If so, the L36 PCM should be able to control it with the right tune (or swapping in the L67 PCM if you can't tune it). If the harness is missing wires, add them and have it done right...

    You wont wanna use it anyways. Once it starts messing up it will give you nothing but problems.

    One other thing; The article says the timing is off 1* from the factory on the N/A motors. This doesn't need to be "fixed"?

    So if the N/A motor is 1* off, but it should be run at 0, then the cam does need to be re-timed?

    where does it say that the n/a motor is a degree off? also, if you time it at zero per the marks on the gears then it will be at zero. its not possible for it to be a degree off if you put everything on correctly.

    most important step is to find the updated lower intake gasket ive read it has aluminum incorporated into it however the only one i have been able to locate for 04 gtp with sc engine is the felpro FEL-PRO Part # MS959771 {Set}
    2nd Design; w/Rubber-plastic end seals w/Locating pins; Lower set but was told this is prone to failure also so where to buy and what brand cause even the dealer service dept seems to be unaware of the aluminum upgraded gasket also any info on why when replacing lim gasket one would replace lifters as in the video i have small leak and no water in oil say this cause do not see milky gunk on oil cap dipsick

    you dont have to replace the lifters when doing the changeover, it was stated in the video that it was only done because in that car the lifters were no longer working correctly at that time. If your lifters are fine, don't touch them. Also, use the felpro 04 and newer LIM gaskets for best results. This should have been posted in the video thread or start a new one. There are many threads about the LIM gasket replacement. Use the search button first please.

    how did you guys connect your fuel lines from the L36 up to the L67? I see that theyre differnet connectors on the ends of the fuel lines from each engine.

    Pulled this out of the top swap FAQ

    28 -Place your new L67/new aftermarket injectors into the heads with new o-rings. Gas leaks can occur due to a cracked o-ring. Place your new L67/new aftermarket fuel rail onto the injectors. Transfer the injector clips from the old rail onto the new one. Tighten down the rail to the 4 studs coming out of the LIM. Attach the fuel line and fuel return to the new rail. Re-attach all the injector harness plugs onto the marked injector.

    Ya I get that part, but on the fuel lines themselves going into the fuel rails, the connectors on the ends are diff. On the L36 theres a elbow on the lines and on the L67 the lines have a quick connect going into the rails.

    Its kinda hard to see on the L36, but im sure you know what I mean.

    Do you see what I mean now?

    twist the heads on them so they will click into place where the l67 rails go. thats all i did and they fit fine. make sure they dont rub on the EGR or youll have a gas leak very soon.
