    What plugs?

It may be the ICM causing this issue aswell.

Good. I was gonna say I wouldn't run that hard. Can't be good for it. Maybe try cleaning the Mass Airflow wire connections. My old 99 gp se 3.1 had a aweful idle and check engine light would come on. Doing research I pulled the connection the the Mass Airflow and it smoothed out and the light went off. I then cleaned the connections up good with WD-40 and it ran perfect again.

chipped piston, or a clogged cat. check the spark plug for damage, the old plugs, were they still all there? or was one smashed or missing the bottom part?

flashing cel means misfires, or clogged cat.
