I noticed my antifreeze level was low. I added about 1/5 gallon of green anti freeze. Curious I then opened the radiator cap and noticed the coolent was orange. Is it bad to mix these?!

YES not a good idea they gel up, flush it ASAP and put either dex or green. id say green

Do you think it's fine tho? I didn't add much of the green stuff, when I realized it was supposed to be orange I got a bottle of it the orange stuff and topped it off with that. I don't think I added more then 20oz of the green stuff

Did you get the green one that can mix with all types of coolant or just standard green? If it's the one that mixes with all coolants i think you are safe.

I don't think it mixes. It's just Durex 50/50

The "mix with all" is like a neon green/yellow, the one that will call it up is just a pure green.

I'm a guy. I don't know the difference between neon green/yellow, and green. I see colors as: light, regular as dark

Yes it is.I've been using that with no problems.Just have to read the label to see mixes with all coolant.Originally Posted by The Guz
