Everything seems to be working well, it starts a lot easier with the intake & MAF cleaned. Bleeding all the air out of the system took forever.

Drip irrigation fittings came in handy for the flush

    This guy works great

So it's been a few weeks now. The car is still running great, but I did notice some coolant is missing. The level in the reservoir has dropped maybe 1-1.5 inches over the past few weeks. Could this just be some air pockets working their way out over time?

forget the res, check the level in the rad when cold. first thing in the morning.

as the engine heats up and cools, its supposed to take and put back coolant into the res tank. thats what its there for. so it should not be the same level in the tank when hot vs cold. it will move some.

I was checking reservoir after the car had sat all day each time. Checked the rad level at the same time, that never seemed to change.

    your good to go then.

if the tank fills up and starts to over flow, or if it runs dry you have a problem.

Did you use a designated flush agent? ....I did mine the tedious way...drained, distilled water, ran until normal op temp and drained again ....went through 10 gallons, ha...

ok thanks. rod, I back-flushed the heater core with a garden hose, but for everything else, I used distilled like you. I only went through around 5 gallons for the actual flush part.
