If your confident in your flushing abilities, do it yourself, just remember after adding whatever coolant you go with, to open the bleeder on top of the T Stat housing and bleed the air out.

waiting for the fans to come on lets you know the engine is hot enough for the t stat to open, some times you will see the rad level drop as well. that would be the time to bleed the air as well. because it opened and took coolant from the rad to fill the engine with more coolant.

Score!! Looks like I'm going to be busy after work! Thanks so much you guys! Hopefully this fixes my 10 mpg! I'm at about 1/2 tank with a nut hair less than 100 miles.
edit: Do I need to put lube on the new o-ring for the new tstat? Or just new o-ring new tsat slap it together?
No lube (LOL) just put the rubber on the T Stat and make sure the mating surfaces are clean and dry, put the housing gasket on dry as well.
Well guys thanks to you I got everything working just fine! That tstat was stuck wide open and the oring was smashed too! Temp gets up to ~190 and stays pretty well! The heat melts your face off too, which is funny since winter is over and done with here lol! Thanks a ton guys!
