I am replacing the catalytic converter on my 2003 Grand Prix 3.8 (K vin). I have pulled the old converter but I have a question. Is there any seal on the front flange? I didn't find one when tearing it down. I know there is one on the back and have a replacement... Thanks for your help!

Hope this is not too late, but do not use an universal cat. You will get a P0420 code soon after the replacement.

I made the mistake of using the cheap ZZP cat with their dp. The check engine light is on but my car seems to run ok.

Found the gasket at O'Reilly's. I used a Walker direct fit CAT. Hope it lasts... Thanks for your help! Now on to more issues, trans pan leak, intake manifold leak.

Good to hear walker is good. Fit well and was pretty easy to install once I got it far enough off the ground to get my huge self under there.

Walker parts also carry a warranty, not sure on the length though.
