i just bought my car with 58k miles on it. its a 2007 base grand prix with out a supercharger.
just wanted to know what kind of mods can be done to my car. every time i try to look into it
i only find things for the gxp v8 grand prix. if you could provide the difficulty level of the mods
and the prices of how much everything would cost would be amazing. also i like in Livonia Michigan
and was wondering if there's any performance shops around that mod cars like mine or tunes them
sense i found out i cant chip my car.

There isn't much that's worth your time and money.

Perhaps a downpipe or headers and an HV3.

Also consider cleaning your throttle body.

Shift kit might help get you up to speed quicker... Maybe weight reduction lol.. Just get a top swap.. Cheaper insurance

Shift kit won't do anything for speed. Just quickens and tightens up shifts.

My vote: Top Swap. But don't go too crazy. Apparently L26s don't like boost.

    Speed limiter.

You don't need to go that fast anyway, and the trans isnt always fond of those speeds.

are there any performance shops around Livonia Michigan that can tune my car? my throttle response sucks and the way it accelerates after 4000rpm is week. if it makes the most amount of hp and torque above 4500 rpm then why dose it just rev up and not accelerate nearly as hard after getting to 4000?

Because grocery getter. Tuning will do nothing more than liven it up just slightly. You won't have a racekar until you get boost.

It's not a bumper it's just a extension that you can attach into your current one. You can get it at a dealership. P/n 19120590

Sure is. A few ways you can do it is hit up a junkyard and find a Grand Prix with duals and purchase it and bolt it on. Or you can have any decent exhaust shop weld a y pipe into it and add another muffler or buy one of the exhaust systems from our car (pricey) so I would tell you one of the first 2 options.

You could try car-part.com They may have it. Heck, even RockAuto may stock it for that matter.

It's a GM specific add on part. Dealer only unless you get lucky in a junkyard or something so no rockauto wouldn't have it.
