I tried driving the car for a little bit with the map unplugged and the po300 code went away but i got two others one p0107 which was cause it was unplugged i think and p0171 which im unsure of. Is it possible a bad map sensor would cause a p0300 but not throw a code for bad map sensor. p0107 only come on when unplugged. Please help im lost and hoping that maybe im on to something with this.

P0171 is vacuum leak.

Could it come from the map sensor being unplugged?

The Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor responds to changes in the intake manifold pressure (vacuum). 5 Volts is supplied to the sensor from the PCM (powertrain control module). Inside the MAP sensor is a resistor that moves in relation to manifold pressure. The resistor varies the voltage between about 1 volt to 4.5 volts (depending on engine load) and that voltage signal is returned to the PCM to indicate manifold pressure (vacuum). This signal is essential for the PCM to determine fuel delivery. A P0107 DTC is set when the PCM sees that the MAP signal voltage is less than .25 volts which is too low.
And not to bully you, but this is your 3rd thread about the same problem which is your car. I know and you know something is not right with it. You need to go back in your head aswell as reading and figure out where something went wrong. Do lots of trouble shooting. Inspect parts, swap parts, make sure everything is working correctly. Get someone with a REAL scanner on it to see exactly what it is doing. Just us telling you what "might" be happening is going to get us and you no where.

I have been troubleshooting that's the problem. Everytime I check the code its different for instence now those p0107 and p0171 are gone. But now I have a p0305. And the random miss won't come back.

Ok could someone just tell me what would cause a misfire to switch cylinders? Ive had a p0300 come up then a p0302 and then a p0305. I had a friend from gm use a scanner a week ago and the only cylinders misfiring were 2 and 3. So whatever it is it seems to jump around. ICM maybe? Ive swapped it already but maybe that one was bad to?

2 and 5 are on the same coil arent they. Swap it around.

Yea I was going to try that when I get off. But the misfire seems to be jumping cylinders.I don't know what would cause that.

Ok five finger I have one question. I put my old plugs back in missfire went away bit if I gave to much gas it sputtered. I had autolites 104 gapped at 56. I just wanna know am I running to rich and fouling plugs or did I just have them gapped to much for my mods? My plugs I switched with are gapped 50. If I'm running to rich how can I fix that? Send my pcm to zzp and tell them its to rich?

And your other problem is trying to run a canned ZZP tune on a custom topswap. You can't do that without running into problems. You need a real tuner. DHP or HP Tuner to tune this car, its the only way to figure out what is going on.

Sputter like misfire but not enough to throw a code. It drives fine when just cruising. Do you know anyone close in Illinois that has one? I'm a little nervous to tune my own.
