A "tuned" PCM from say zzp isn't going to make the ses light go away unless you tell them to shut the codes off. You need a custom tune from someone who knows what they are doing.

I have every intention of selecting the appropriate code deletes when I order the ZZP pcm. There's ****-all for performance shops in St. Louis that would do this since MO Emissions are so tight.

You don't need a shop to do it. Find a local with a tuner to take care of it and you can get a custom tune for your car rather than a canned tune.

Going to be real, real honest with you right now, man. It's hard to do here but I'm going to say it.

...I care about getting rid of this code, much more than I do the performance of my car right now.

You can get the custom tune while getting rid of the code.

Custom tune is the way to go. It's not necessarily a "performance" tune, unless you want it to be. And it can be adjusted to your car (everyone will respond differently to age/wear) but at zzp its just basic and not fine tuned.
