brand new to the whole gp modding thing so don't hate me for the dumb question.

I decided to spend my refund on an exhaust this year, and as the first step I bought a 2.5" DP w/ cat from ZZP (gonna keep it n/a). thought I'd see how I liked it then keep going, but i've hit a road block.

I spent sunday trying to get the factory DP off and got a whole lot of nuthin. I'm trying to get the nuts off the studs at the rear, sprayed a ton of BP blaster, used a cheater bar, kicked it but nothin moved. Is this welded in? am I doing something wrong ? can somebody help me out with some tips/ suggestions / anything?

the cars a 2004 GP gt, all i've done so far is CAI, MSD wires + coils, and irridium plugs, but hopefully there is more to come.

    THANKS
