    This is my first post.

I like to say thanks for all the tips on here for changing you spark plugs and wires.

    Now my question.
I have 02 Grand Prix 3.8L with 56k miles on it. It sat for a couple of days while I did the front wheel bearings to get the ABS light to shut off. When I started the car it ran fine for 10 minutes then the car would not accelerate. No codes came up. So I drove it for another day still no codes. So I changed the Plugs wires still no luck and still no codes. I am thinking of changing the catalytic converter any tips would be great.

I was wondering if anyone did a walk through on replacing this part.

I started soaking the bolts in liquid wrench

    Thanks
    Chris

Its as simple as unbolting the 2 downpipe bolts and 2 on the catback.

If you do replace it, buy a quality part or the SES light will come back on. 01+ cars are picky on the rear o2 and most highflow downpipes will set the light off because they flow way too well.

This is accurate, the quality part is key. Had a buddy who didnt do that, and there the light was.
