could be worse i seen a kid around here cut out his stock mufflers and put cherry bombs in, then after he cut out the resonator and put a straight pipe in

    They all suck.

I'm pretty sure we've already said that.

I had Flowmaster Super 40's on my GPGT and they droned like crazy, it gave me a headache to drive the car just because of the drone from the Flowmasters, I took them off and had a pair of Thrush glasspacks welded on, and no resonator. Its nice and loud now but with minimal drone.
If you want to find out more about me or my GPGT click the link below it takes you to my youtube channel.

I just put borlas on mine and i love it. $89 a piece through wickednickys.com was a decent price. Bought some dual 3.5" tips off ebay for $90 and had it installed for $150. Let me tell you, it was a good investment imo.

A buddy of mine had flowmaster 40's with VS cam. The car was loud to begin with but riding with the flowmasters made me go nuts. Drone so bad and sounded awful, way to loud and gave me a headache. Borla would be the way to go for a grand prix, but a little pricey. Flowmaster > Magnaflow > Borla

i hope all those people that think there 3800's sound so good with straight pipes flowmasters or whatever know there's a difference between sounding good, and sounding loud and/or droney... anyone who thinks there 3800 sounds good with straight pipes or flowmasters all i can say is you must have never owned a v8.. and another thing, whats the point of having exhaust if your car is stock and/or not fast if its a Grand Prix 3800

3800 with a turbo muffler still sounds bad.

With stock mufflers it still sounds bad.

How do you propose a muffler will fix the firing order?

i have a corsa catback and i think it sounds pretty good. but only look into that if you can find one thats used cuz brand new they are outrageously expensive lol. if you could find a used borla or corsa catback definitely consider it.
