Do you have a schematic and directions for the pump?

Yes... And the pump wiring harness that racetronix sent me has what looks alot like o2 sensor connectors... The main issue is the connector on top of the assembly the oval one that has an oring and can be removed completely ... I'll get pics here in a little bit... But I do believe I'm just gonna break out my soldering skillz and attatch the wires right to the pins

Did some not digging and found that the basket assembly is an airtex so someone has changed it out with an inferior fuel pump that requires a special pigtail that has to be put in place of the stock one =(

Soldering right to the pins would be fine unless they come apart then you're screwed.
Did you get the correct wiring harness for your year car? The wires for the pump should connect right to your OEM connectors if they sent you the right one.

I don't think all of the Racetronix pumps are universal.

If it's an Airtex then there should be a pigtail with an oval connector and a square connector.
BTW My Airtex pump has almost 100K and still works great.

You should post pictures of the Racetronix re-wire you have and the connectors.

This is what my re-wire looks like:

The oval goes to the top of the pump cansiter while the square goes to the factory harness.

Any DTC's? How about a little history on the car...this will help diagnosis.

Have you checked fuel pressure yet. It might be the regulator.

the problem is fixed now shame on me for unfoundedly bashing airtex and their fuel pump it was a combination of my ignorance and false advertisement the w1 pump is not compatible with an airtex basket only factory baskets that have the delphi jet pump system, apparently i assumed i was still running the stock pump tisk tisk... so i just went out and dropped $285 at advance for an airtex assembly... sorry to have wasted everyones time not to mention the fact that i posted this in the wrong section its been a long week... btw i did get the harness to work just went out and got a new pump harness pigtail and replaced the racetronix connector with that and it works great so now i have a walbro w1 pump that i cant use if anyone wants it $80 +shipping

Actually the difference may be that you ordered a pump for the GTP. They use a different pump than the GT. I noticed this earlier but was unsure...wish someone else would have chimed in. Hello everyone!

Oh well, glad you got it fixed. Enjoy your new Airtex pump.
