I have a 2003 gp gt and the code p0440 keeps coming on. Autostore people always say its my gascap. So I bought a new one and it still came on. What else causes this code to be thrown?

same thing happened to me, from my understanding it wont hurt anything with it being on. i found this post to be helpful it gives alot of info.

Where is the purge selenoid located at?

The canister is located in the drivers side wheelwell behind the splash shield. Pull the shield and take a look. The purge solenoid should be on top of the canister
