my grand prix has been stalling out quickly after it has started, the RPM's also jump up and down a lot. the only thing i have done was replaced the manifold air pressure sensor and it did not change anything. i unplug the mass airflow sensor and the problem seems to go away, what could cause this to happen and how can i fix it without spending tons of money.

Try cleaning the maf. If that doesn't work, likely you need a new one.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

i found a MAF sensor at the junk yard and put it on, but it did not fix it, is there anything else to check before buying a new one?

is your check engine light on?

for the maf, you can also check the wires to the plug for the maf, they crack and insulation breaks off and get dry wire.

and that maf you bought from the JY should have a warranty on it, 30 days is the norm. if you didn't pick it from a pick and pull.
