I don't know if the Pontiac wiring was this screwed up to begin with, or if whoever pulled the engine before I bought the car needs to be smacked, but this is rediculous. There's a mass of wires between the engine and firewall with no heat shield, some running through and melted to the exhaust manifold and others resting on the valve cover. There's also wiring stretched tight against the underside of the engine and more resting against the belt.

I've already rerouted the spark plug wires, and I'm about ready to rewire the whole engine. I know people have rerouted for a cleaner look before, which is what I'm going for for now until I can afford performance mods, so if you guys could post some pictures of your reroutes along with some suggestions I'd appreciate it. I do want to clean up the appearance as much as possible, but keeping the wires from melting and/or shorting out is the first priority. Please help .
