Depends on what is wrong with it.

You should never recharge w/o a gauge. Too little and it works bad, too much, it works worse... wrong thing..kaboomey.

One of the fittings is right by the fuse box..I don't remember every noticing where the other is located.

    Dunno..I didn't.

Having a full set of gauges and the FSM's to tell you what is really going on is the way to go though.

MAybe it blows warm because the R-134a has leaked out.

I'd take it to a shop and have them vacuum it down to test for leaks and then recharged it if all is good.

I just charged mine for $30 dollars...Get a can of 134a with a gauge. Turn ac on max, hook the can up to the low pressure side. (It wont fit on the high pressure.) So dont worry. Mine has held for a couple weeks now, no issues yet.

If the R134a ever leaks out then you need to find the leak and fix it. It's a sealed system that should never need added to or topped off. Get one can of r134a and a can with uv dye in it and put them in then you can trace down the leak after it stops working again.
