Have you considered a TVS? Low end power of a roots blower with the top end pull far superior to that of the m90.

Been reading all your threads(with much BS filtering from all the arguing lols)its looks like great power but lil too much work(I dont do my own work, cost me hourly, sometimes i get a cheap hourly rate or free depending on the job) with having to get fabricated parts to make it fit etc.
if I went boost id just buy a zzp turbo kit that just bolts up,and w/e else it needs, then pull it to overkill to tune it. and now that i got my hv3 today that kinda settles the what kinda boost im choosing. if I even boost it, Then i still have to worry about my poor lil tranny after lols.

You may have to send that badboy over to TEP to get a nice rebuild going. If you're ganna turbo, may as well start setting money aside for the tranny fund.

Cant he just build a brand new one and send it out? Id be much happier with that. have the stock one for just in case measures. and I don't want to be left without a car.
Ya my funds wont be a issue soon. could be for a whole different car, or a tranny turbo setup, but I really would rather own a rwd car sooner then later.

    Tim King tranny...
I did this for my car. He doesn't need your core so you get to keep the stock one.

You don't need to fabricate anything for a TVS.

I thought this thread was about a turbo not a TVS.

Not really much at all actually.

The only significant engine upgrades you would want to do would be valve springs, and at some point a camshaft... Other than that you are going to want to spend money on the turbo kit itself.

For the record... This is completely wrong as a turbo is going to give you the most low end torque out of any power adder.

OP is considering his options... He mentions a top swap being a possible option. The TVS is an option that he may not know about. I'm just spreading the word about a new option.

    ....Option.

No, he mentions an l67 swap, not a top swap. Grimsin talked about a top swap... But it is not his thread.

Either way, people don't know about the TVS option. Someone mentioned a top swap so I mentioned a TVS.
No fabrication is needed and all the parts are available.

Not sure why you're not on the case of the guy who mentioned a top swap if the thread is about a turbo.

We're on the case because SOMEONE mentioned a TVS, which switched it back to a blower conversation.

    Also.

Not everyone is gonna get awesome deals like you do, or have a GenV setup they can part out. So you're great setup is going to cost the same as a used, intercooled turbo kit.

Which will make well north of that, SAE, standardized, corrected, math infused, super accurate "374WHP".

    Thread is about a turbo.

Keep it there; want to tell him about his options on a TVS? PM him. Otherwise, I'm tired of all these threads getting off track recently.

Infraction King has arrived and I'm ready.

Nick, you mentioned it. I'm sure OP is thankful. You didn't make your WHP on just the TVS. Depending on the turbo, there is the possibility. Costwise it appears he mentioned a charger swap based on only price. TVS doesn't fit that price range, even at the deal you got it for. Fabrication, there is fabrication of the plate. You keep saying you'll share the info/place that made it, yet when asked..you don't.

To all, please heed the warning above from Blue to get on topic and keep it there for the OP. If this sways back to an argument over TVS, points will be handed out.

    Thanks
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

I'd love to do a turbo on my GT. Then again it would probably be faster than my 04 GTO then! DOH!
