Does anyone know that if you take out the resonator, will the car still pass the emissions test. All parts like the cat and mufflers are still on. I just removed the resonator

it will still pass but the resonator keeps the exhaust note from being so tingy and raspy.

The best sounding 3800's are the ones with stock mufflers and the biggest resonators. I don't think anyone will argue with that.

The resonator just does exactly what it says, basically its a larger pipe with a smaller pipe inside it to resonate the sound. Your cat will do the work to reduce emissions.
