Does anyone have an idea as to why my 97 GT keeps killing the MAF?
I just installed a new one from Borg Warner last week and it's already
throwing a PO102,the engine was dying right after start-up when I
installed the new MAF in the parts store parking lot.
Sometimes unplugging and starting will allow idle, have had it die when
plugged in after start and had it run at other times.

I'd start looking at your wiring/grounds if you have the same problem after a new sensor. Also I don't know what values, but check to see if the right voltage, etc is getting to the sensor, I'm sure someoneon here should know what they should be.

I'd check wiring as well. Being over the exhaust, I've heard of a few guys finding pins backed out, wires hard and crumbling which led to issues etc
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

    Thanks guys.
I just heard that the IAC function could also cause the MAF to have issues, but my IAC and TB are spotless.
