    i need pictures of the stock venturi system for a 99 gt. im confused on how the whole system works because the old pump looks identical to the venturi 255 i have in it, but the stock pump didnt have the small tube on it for the venturi system

    Venturi canister with the line going to the bottom:


    Top of canister with new connector:


    The black line connects to this nipple:
    The clear line goes to the underside of the top of the canister:

    so does the small tube connect to the nipple on the top of the pump? or does it just sort of hang out there?

    this is the top of the pump i got from tengis....apparently what he says is the metal piece on the outlet needs to come off? the bubble piece shown in this picture

    Yes, pull that metal piece off of the outlet. The metal piece is there for those that use a rubber hose.

    The little nipple goes to the black hose in the first picture of Pure2Sins post.

    So Zack, that metal piece, does that restrict the flow with the plastic tube?

    No, but you cant really properly install the plastic tube with the metal piece on there. If you got the plastic tube onto the pump with the metal thing left in place then you are fine as long as pressure isnt leaking.

    Long story short though - the pump will die within 7-10 days without the venturi hose hooked up.
