You don't even need to do 110. Speed limiters are set in place for peoples safety, not pleasure. If you had tires rated for that speed, sure why not.

yea i suppose, i just wanted limiter changes cause iv raced alot of ppl that came close to me then my limiter hits and boom loss, like id said before id be happy with even 125 130, and hopefully a tune/chip will change it

nice, kinda sounds like magnaflow tho, but yea i love the exhaust on my car, it sounds like a monster, i actually have a video of my car but sound quiality isnt good cause it was from a android phone but picture is good, my 2005 pontiac grand prix GT - YouTube

nothing is wrong like i said before, when i do close races most of the time im ahead a bit then they go by me when my limiter hits, sometimes i do win without the limiter hitting but i just wanna keep up with the ppl that beat me without having to buy a v8 cause i wont be able to afford it till a few years so mine as well mod this one up, besides i really do like this car

u got the HV3 and headers? when u install them lemme kno man i know how much performance was increased, u gettin a tune too or alrdy got one?

If you haven't won by 90 mph you're probably not going to.

    More on top speed: http://www.grandprixforums.net/there...5-a-56189.html

    Magnaflow catback sounds quite terrible.

If you need spray to win, the other guy probably has a higher top speed.

Maggy catback on my buddy's camaro sounds great.

But that might be because it has a cammed SBC.

    Not an even fire 3800.

yea it was prolly cause of cam, flowmasters, slp and borla sound the best imo, but borla is kind of a hit and miss i think too depending on the car

many things affect how a car sounds.

motor, headers, cat, catback tubing path, etc.

Not even considering the muffler yet.

More aggressive will result in more poopy noises unless you turbo.

I suggest you read the safely modding your 3800 thread for your other concerns.

Top swap thread is the one just above this in the naturally aspirated section.

i may consider dumping a supercharger in it depending on how much i can find one, and yea true, but honestly idk wat else i would throw in my car other then heads and POSSIBLY a chip/tune cause cams are impossible to find for my car and like i said way earlier i dont plan on sooping this up a whole lot just enough to hold me over till a v8, so i wanna get it to at least 260HP area

    cams are far from impossible.

Like I said, read safely modding thread.

By V8 you mean a different car?

If so, it might be best to leave yours stock as to keep it more reliable and save money for the other vehicle.
