dot 3 and 4 can be mixed but dot 5 cannot

Most fluid is now 3/4 compliant now anyhow

DOT 5 is useless anyways.
At least for a passenger car or race car.

cool. thanks guys! I replaced all lines and calipers on my car and put DOT4 fluid in it that I got from Tire Rack. with everything new and steel braided lines this car finally stops good. just wanted to male sure that the 4 did not mess up any seals.

buy my fbody calipers...then you can haz real brakes
