I have the 97 3800 II GT and I want to put a supercharger on it and replacing the heads and intake and cumpter is their anything else bc I have been told that it will and will not blow my tranny can someone give me the right answer?

You need the fuel rail as well as fuel injectors. There is a sticky in the na 3800 section about topswaps read that.
The 97 has a weak vacuum powered transmission from what I remember reading... I think they blow a lot on NA power, I dunno if it'll be able to handle boost.
yes, definitely read the sticky because there is a lot more to it than heads and the blower itself.
the easiest way to tell is if there is a vac line/ vac modulator on the front driver side of the trany next to the AC canister. if it has the vac it is a 4t60e. if it doesn't its the 4t65e. the 4t65e is fine for the SC. the 4t60e just might go bye bye in a very short time.
By your post...I believe the best thing to do at this point is research.
And realize the transmission you have can barely hold the power your N/A motor makes.
