maintenance and changing your driving style, search around and you will find many threads on this topic.
the 3800 motors love to drink gas if you'll let em. if your worried about gas mileage keep your foot off the floor in these cars.
i get roughly 600km/tank of gas (mostly highway) if i'm driving nice.....
Yup, the cheapest, easiest, and most effective way to increase your gas mileage is to drive more sensible. Works everytime. Modifications are expensive, not reliable to work for every car, and often time consuming to install.
Things to help MPG's...
Keep the junk out of your trunk...
Drive naked...
Use the bathroom before driving...
Go on a diet...
Check for proper tire pressure...
Clean the MAF Sensor...
Clean the Throttle Body...since it is an '04+ they are commonly known to gunk up, cause starting issues and non-wanted MPG's numbers...
New Spark plugs/wires...
New Air Filter...a high flowing factory panel filter like a K&N will work or just bolt a aftermarket cone filter to the end of the MAF.
Seafoam the engine...
Replace PCV Valve
Use the bathroom again after doing all of these things...then have a few beers and offset the diet thing.
That work?![]()
