    i was google'n around on hv3 and people talking about custom inserts and such. i came across something about removing runners from the uim altogether and seeing top end gains? never really herd about that around here looking for some input on this ....

    you could try to fab your own hv3 pretty much. take out the runners and just have the flat piece

    The runners choke the engine above 4.3K, simply taking them out(no HV3) will show top end gains, however you WILL miss the TQ! An HV3 is a much better option.

    it will feel like you have less power under 4k rpms.

    did you fix your suspension yet? you should fix that first and for most.

    When i sold my HV3 for my top swap I just took the HV3 out and left it. I also took my cat'd downpipe off at the same time and I was a little sadder while driving it, but i think it was improved over stock. IMO its a good free mod.

    yeah swiggles, took care of that sh1t. new front n rear swaybars new struts. 1inch drop springs commin soon. and cannot wait until august 10th 11 more days till i can driveeeee
