The driveability of the car doesn't seem affected but from what seems to be the drivers-side rear spring/strut there is a horribly annoying squeaking coming almost constantly when driving around the city. Although you barely hear it on the highway.

Anybody know what this might be so that I might be able to fix it? Already tried just replacing the rear struts, and the squeaking is still quite abundant.

    Thanks,
    -V

squeaks normally are from bad busings or bearings, you only have a couple of those back there, does it do it when hitting a bump or just rolling along?

A bit when rolling along but it squeaks horribly when I hit a bump.

Exhaust mufler hitting the metal hanger due to the rubber hanger being worn out.

Check that. I had a very annoying loud squeaking noise and that is what it was. Just lay under the back of the car.grab the mufler (when not hot) anf move it back and forth. If you hear the noise then thats it.
