Hey everyone. Been reading post and I thought I figured out my car. I replaced the Crack Position Sensor...no luck! Car starts and runs for about 3 seconds then dies. It will do this all day long. It is a 2000 Grand Prix GT with the 3.8 Any ideas?? Thanks in advance.

Sounds to me like the security system is turning it off., are you using the correct key? Even if you think you are, I’d try your spare key.

Either that or the MAF is shot. Try unplugging the MAF and starting it and see if it runs. If so, then there's your answer.

Is there a CEL on at all?
