Spark plug question

Hi, I tried using the search button for this but none of the threads really answered my question. I got an 04 GT, and I was looking to do the spark plugs soon. I'm very partial to ac delco and was thinkin ac delco rapidfire plugs but I havent really seen anyone here talk alot about them. I had a set in my old beretta gtz quad 4 and they ran pretty good, but Id like some unbiased opinons. My car isnt crazy modded(just a k and n stock replacement and 180 deg. t stat.) I just want somethin alil better than stock.Any help would by greatly appreciated.

If you're N/A with just an intake, stick with stock plugs and you'll be fine.

Get Autolite Copper 606 plugs...these motors LOVE copper plugs...cheap and easy...that's how I get it done

Well, if you like delco plugs I would suggest using NGK TR55 plugs. I made an interesting observation when I pulled a plug on my car. It was the stock “delco” plug, but it also had a NGK label on it! I’m like wow, I pulled a couple more and sure enough they all had NGK labels. Other than that, the Autolite 605 is a good plug. You will find most ppl on this site will agree that a standard copper $2 plug changed every 25k is better than any $10 iridium plug.

Id like something thatl last alot longer than 25k. are the rapidfires good or no?

Rapidfires are platinum. Stock plugs are iridium. Iridium>Platinum.

Are the ngk tr55 vpower plugs iridium,platnum or copper?

v power is copper (what you should run)

g power is platinum

iridium are well iridium.

Thats for NGK's lineup.

Copper plugs in N/A engine is pointless (and I wouldn't go more than 15k mi on them). Iridium are supposed to last 100,000, but I found that my gas mileage decreased slightly around 70,000 mi on factory iridium plugs.
