Im not experienced at all in racing, but the only tip I can give you is to...

Do it at the strip, not on the street.

Brake torque it (hold the gas and brake) until the stall speed of the torque converter so you load it right. Then, on go you don't mash the gas. You need to practice to find the right throttle point where you accelerate hardest without spinning your tires. As you launch, you can give it more gas as your tires get moving without breaking them loose.

Spinning tires only wastes energy and they take longer to get energy to the ground. It's all about the balance, but you have to practice. Also, resist doing smokey burnouts. Enough of those and your differential (for lack of a better word) explodes.

Get headers and you won't ever have to worry about spinning the tires in a GT

You got a blower...you gotta be easier on the gas...feather the throttle.

Psssh...neck snapping launches and busted transmissions...and moving your seat forward is such a joke. ZZP wrote those back in like what...2003?? and need to update their crap since it is WAY out of date.

I know...you said you spin the crap out of your tires and I said that you have a blower and need to ease into it...you can't just stab it and except Pep Boy street tires or whatever not break loose to 280 ft. lbs. of instant torque.

never floor it anytime in first gear, especially with a stock tune just a little gas and alotta break at the line...on the green light let off break quickly and find the spot on ur throttle that lets u take off the fastest with minimal tire spining...after 2nd gear punch it to WOT only if u need to...ive been through races before without even flooring it once...and ive won too
