Plenum warped about a year ago, dumped coolant into engine, hydro locked, broke the starter, yada, yada, yada. Replaced the Plenum with the Dorman 615-180 and the lim gaskets with the Delco aluminum ones. Ran great for a year. Now the car misses when restarted warm after being shutoff for 5 min. Losing tons of coolant, and at least some of it appears to be external loss from coolant elbow. Also removed plenum and have some oil on top of lower intake. Compession 180 to 185 across the board.
I am very confused, I am a vintage small block Chevy guy and not used to seeing these problems, just other ones. Can anyone help ?

is there an obvious ammount of white smoke coming from the exhaust? that's your first indication that you're burning coolant. If so, start simple by pulling the plugs and seeing if any are wet. If not, I would pull off your upper intake and go from there.
    good luck!
