is a resonator the same thing as a glass pack. cause magnaflow has resonators. and glass packs .can thay replase the mufflers. what would sound better.

basically the same, but a resonator should last longer because of the materials its made of.

It will if he's replacing the mufflers with it like he's asking.....Then it won't sound too good IMO....But if he's replacing the resonator with a glasspack, it is much cheaper and sounds identical, I thought mine got a little quieter when I put the glasspack in place of my resonator

Yea i agree a glasspack does quiet things down a bit but it does a damn good job smoothing out revs .I remember my car sounded a lil crappy with my exhaust leak and stock res.Now it sounds good.Mufflers and downpipe next.

Go to youtube and type in grand prix super 44. I don't have a video upped by I know there are some. I left my stock cat and cut my resonator and put on the flowmaster super 44 with hedman headers resonated tips. It has deep aggressive sound but depends on what you want.
