run a spark plug non fouler with the rear 02. google it. or have someone with a tuner delete the code
i tride a spark plug non fouler. and it still come on
Ive never seen the fouler not work. How did you put yours on?
one was drill out and put the o2 in it . and put all in the pipe. it came with two . shuld i used both. this is what it looks like.
Universal Oxygen Sensor Simulator 02 Cel Fix O2 Spacer - eBay (item 270685385765 end time Jan-27-11 13:04:04 PST)
yep, use One like that. that one has two combined
ok il use both and i let you know. what happins thanks for the help.
Good luck.
Easiest way would have someone local delete the code if possible
have you cleared the codes since you put the fouler in?
Most posts I've seen (and this is with high flow cats in general) people claim they tried one spark plug anti-fouler and it took the two. It's spacing the O2 sensor out of the exhaust stream to allow it to "read" what it thinks it need to read.
It will take a while for the car to clear the code on it's own. IMO clear all codes and start from a clean slate.
As stated, the best method is to delete the code from the PCM completely (but this can sometimes be costly just for a single code delete).
Best of luck!
Truth.
'01+ cars have a different fueling loop IIRC. Putting in a o2 sim KILLS MPG's OR makes the car run terribly lean...you never really know...it just does what it wants.
thanks, you f*ckers have me thinking now.... so this over/under fueling issue applies to me and my 2001, since the code and everything was deleted from the pcm?
edit: either way, i guess im not too worried. been going strong for over a year now. good gas mileage and all..
my code is set to not report yet the O2 sensor is still there.
No issues thus far.
Alright im having a heck of a time here Trying to use one of these on my 02 since theres no write ups on here i found one else where and they said to drill one out 1/2 and i did and my 02 still wont fit all the way in there how much do you drill it out? if someone could give me any tips it would be nice because i want to get this done today
