i have a 2000 gp gt with 150,000 miles on it. lately ive been having a hesitation problem where rpms drop and it acts like it wants to stall. this only happens when its cold and when in gear. otherwise it idles just fine. after a couple of minutes of warming up and driving in low gear, problem goes away completely. unplugged the maf sensor to see if that would correct the problem but to no avail. the only other idea was to clean the tbody and sensors, but that didnt work either. had a mechanic tell me it could be a faulty maf sensor, the injectors may be dirty or the coolant temp sensor may be faulty, besides a number of other problems he mentioned. im not gonna rule out any of those, but would somebody know what would cause this specific problem? dont want to fork over hundreds on a problem i may be able to fix my self. any suggestions?
