2002 GP GT, 107,xxx; Started what I THOUGHT was misfiring. Would ride as normal then would stutter almost and rpms would momentarily drop, would do it more prevalent under heavy acceleration. Just changed plugs and wires, didn't change coils. Started happening again. I added fuel system cleaner and 93 gas to make sure it's not something there......same thing......what could be my problem? Could it be transmission? Not throwing any SES codes......

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

nope the rpms just dip when it happens and picks right back up right away. This might not make sense but you know how when you start a car it makes the belt squeal kind of sound. It does that when the rpms dip like that....but just faintly.

And its only sporadic. The car still pulls hard sometimes. Other times when trying to go wot it just drops all of a sudden.

Denso platinum twin tip....regardless the issue was present before the plugs and wires.

But no codes at all when using a scanner? I know you said no SES but I wasn't sure if you just mean't no SES "light" or no light AND no scan code, either way no codes though, right?

Pull the codes, there are many that don't turn on the light. There are too many things that could be wrong to try and desktop diagnose it with the provided info.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
