Hey i found this hv3 (High velocity intake insert) thing on zzp performance. and just wondering if anyone had tried it and if so could you leave some comment please? The cost is fairly cheap only 200$ so i am considering buying it, it apparently boosts you up to 30 hp and gives better low end torque is it true?

    wrong section, moving.

also, those are very high gains. you'll most likely not see 30 hp gains or even close to it.

Click the link in my signature and READ jeeves.

As for the HV3...they gained 30 to the crank at the VERY top of the RPM range...with headers, intake, tune, ER rockers, etc...just tossing it on will sure HELP, but you might see 10 horse to the tire...maybe.

I felt it took a little from the low end, but really added to the high end. It pulls nicely after 4k RPM.

It is my favorite mod I've done so far and I'd recommend it to all the N/A guys. It doesn't give 30hp, but you can feel the difference. It also makes the car's engine sound sweet!

You don't need springs when going to ER Rockers...that's the point of them as long as your not shifting over 6K you won't get valve float.
