My grand prix keeps doing this weird thing. If I give the car more then 70% throttle, It will rev up to 5K rpm and not shift, The engine light will start to blink and it will lose power. Could this be a transmission problem or something? I've replaced the spark pluges and fuel filter. recently also had the whole lower intake gasket replaced along with the uppper intake.

Is there a way to test for that? Cause the car drives like normal, other then under heavy acceleration.
